SECURITY AND SAFETY
 Perimeter Defence
Perimeter defence allows the user to define a virtual line in the scene. This virtual line with multiple rules to filter objects crossing the line in certain directions and of predefined sizes. The perimeter defence also sports a pre-alert zone, which can detect objects loitering near the perimeter.
Intrusion Detection
Objects entering a secured area will be detected. The object of interest can be categorized by size and the direction of motion. Multiple secured areas can be defined to limit the area where intrusion will be detected. This feature aids in filtering unwanted alerts in areas, which are of non-interest to the operation of concern.
Missing/Unattended Detection
The user can define multiple regions of interest and detect any object (filtered by size) that had been left unattended or removed from the area. The time to trigger alert can be set to filter out objects that had been detected for longer than the time defined.
TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT
 Traffic Congestion Detection
DIS is able to monitor and determine if there is traffic congestion. This is especially useful for traffic authorities to manage and study the traffic conditions.
Vehicle Height and Length Measurement
DIS is able to measure the height and the length of the vehicle automatically. This is especially useful in automatic toll collection systems where the camera can determine the vehicle class (based on its height and length) and charge the driver accordingly.
Vehicle Speed Measurement
DIS measures the speed of the vehicle passing by. Such measurements can be used for collecting statistical data of the traffic condition or provide pre-emptive detection of speeding vehicles approaching a guard post.
Unauthorize Vehicle Parking
Vehicles parked at unauthorized zones will be detected. This feature allows users to ensure that alighting / unloading bays will be clear of illegally parked vehicles.
Vehicle Counting
Vehicle counting provides the ability to collect statistical data on the number of vehicles that enter or leave a certain zone. Users can also set the engine to specifically count only vehicles of a certain size heading in a particular direction.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
People Counting
It provides the user with the ability to collect statistical data on the number of people that enters or leaves a certain zone. User can also set the engine to specifically count only people of a certain size heading in a particular direction.
Crowd Detection
DIS is able to detect a crowded situation. The user is able to define an area of interest and the threshold at which it will be considered as crowded. Upon exceeding the threshold pre-defined by the user, an alert will be triggered. |
